As independent filmmakers, we thrive together—building a platform that champions inclusion, amplifies visibility, and reshapes the stories told on our screens and stages.
Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant space for Latinas and Latine creatives across Atlanta’s film, TV, and theatre industries—fostering collaboration, authentic representation, and community. ¡Pa’lante!

Running September 18–28 & Oct. 3-4, this award-winning play pays tribute to the Latina immigrant journey, celebrating real bodies, resilience, and the power of women’s unity. Set in a small sewing factory five Latinas navigate life, work, and womanhood, sharing dreams, struggles, and laughter along the way.

Latine Film Screening at Peaberry Film Festival
Latinas in Media Atlanta (LIMA) is proud to partner with the Peaberry Film Festival to spotlight Latine filmmakers at the 2025 festival, October 2–5 at the historic Canton Theatre in Canton, Georgia. This special film block will feature narrative and documentary works in Spanish, English, and Spanglish—celebrating the range, diversity, and artistry of Latine storytelling.
